It’s time for a quick progress report on the second painting in the Prohibition series that I started recently. Here’s where it stands:
It’s quite far along, but there’s still plenty I want to do to tighten it up before I call time. I’m pleased with how these characters have turned out, though. When I took the photo above just now, my camera recognized the faces as human, which was quite gratifying.
I’ll start thinking about the subject for the next painting soon, although the edits on the second children’s book I’m co-writing with my wife have just come back, so Prohibition will have to go on a short hiatus while I knock the manuscript into shape. I’ll miss my brushes.
