As part of my ongoing effort to excite the state of Florida about canine caricatures, I have just completed the Scottish terrier painting above. As for the first three offerings, shown in earlier articles, I’m delighted to say that the prints are selling well, and the dachshund original waddled out of the door with a new owner as soon as it went up on the wall.
You can now buy the prints, plus my as yet unsold doggy paintings, at Rachel Pierce’s Floridian outlet, here. She ships worldwide!
The beardy terrier is the first of a new trio of dogs, the sketches for which are above. I have already started the chihuahua painting, and here (below) is this morning’s progress. This fella will have some cocktails lined up next to him.
When I get around to it, I’m thinking that the poodle I’m planning to paint should have a pink Cadillac in the background.
I’ll post the final results of all of this in coming days.
Thanks for reading this far, and I’d be immensely grateful if you’d consider becoming a paid subscriber to my Substack to help justify the time and effort of putting this stuff together. It is always much appreciated when one of you takes the plunge.
Good stuff Adrian. I need to draw some dogs today.
