I’ve been painting like a man possessed lately, in the course of which I have completed a couple more canvases that I had shelved quite some time ago, for reasons not entirely clear to me.

The first is this caricature of John Cleese and Andrew Sachs as Basil Fawlty and Manuel, from the classic British sitcom, Fawlty Towers:

The second is my 18” x 22” painting of Sigourney Weaver in Aliens, shown below. Both pieces are now in my Etsy store, which is shaping up nicely, by the way.

This pair of caricatures featured in an article I wrote a while back about how some pieces take a lot longer to come to fruition than others. But I think the procrastination helped the process…
