To my surprise and delight, I’m designing puppets again. It’s on a much smaller scale than my output for Spitting Image, and I can’t reveal any details about the purpose of the work, as yet.
But because a previous Substack article I wrote about the puppet-making process seemed to interest you all, I thought I’d share a few more thoughts about it, especially with regard to what doesn’t work when you’re designing 3D caricatures that are required to move and talk.
